Sunni Scholar: Islamic Awakening should be promoted via unity

“Recent uprisings and revolution in Muslim countries are derived from the 1979 Islamic revolution of Iran,” said Abdol Aziz Akhund Davari, a Sunni scholar from Bojnourd city.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - “Recent uprisings and revolution in Muslim countries are derived from the 1979 Islamic revolution of Iran,” said Abdol Aziz Akhund Davari, a Sunni scholar from Bojnourd city.

The Islamic scholar stressed the necessity of Muslim unity saying Muslims should abide by the Islamic rules and Quranic values.

Akhund Davari took any disputation over minimal issues on the chin and underlined, “One the priorities which Quran puts stress on is the issue of unity among Muslims which each of us should take into consideration.”

Akhund Davari went on,” the importance of unity and proximity among Muslim nations should not be fallen on deaf ears and all Muslims should eschew from any behavior which leads to dispersion among Islamic denominations.”

“The arrogant world knows that it cannot regain the power it enjoyed before the spread of Islamic awakening in the region,” he underlined.

Bojnourd Sunni scholar called on Muslims to follow the goals and values of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and via this way progress and revive justice and Islamic values in the society.

Akhund Davari said Muslim unity foils plots of the enemies and underscored,” it is incumbent upon each of us, especially religious scholars, to inform other people of the necessity of this issue.”

“It is Muslims’ duty to spread the Islamic Awakening via resorting to unity and proximity,” he underlined.

Imam Musa ibn Ja'far al-Kazim(A.S.),the Seventh Holy Infallible Imam of the Shiites whose matchless devotion and worship of God has earned him the titles of "Abd-e-Saleh" and "Bab-ul-Hawaij" (The Door to Fulfilling Peoples' Needs).

Even after his martyrdom, he continued to be obliging and was generous to his devotees who came to his Holy tomb with prayers and behests which were invariably granted by God. Thus one of his additional titles is also "Bab-e-Qaza-ul-Hawaij" (the door to fulfilling needs).

The fire of malice and jealousy against the Ahl-ul-Bayt was kindled in his heart when he saw the great influence and popularity which the Holy Imam enjoyed amongst the people there.
